When applying to universities in English-speaking countries such as the USA or Canada, language proficiency scores are a crucial requirement. While preferences may vary by country, both IELTS and TOEFL scores are generally accepted.

Many universities require a minimum score of IELTS overall 6.5 or TOEFL 80. However, some schools and programs may set higher standards, especially in specific sections like Writing or Speaking.

미국·캐나다 등 영어권 국가 대학에 지원할 때 필수 조건 중 하나인 언어능력검증 성적으로, 국가에 따라 IELTS 또는 TOEFL을 선호하지만 모두 허용하고 있습니다.

AP Program | AP 프로그램

The Advanced Placement (AP) program offers students the opportunity to receive college credit by achieving specific scores on AP exams. This not only saves on tuition costs but also adds value to college applications, as top universities often grant admission bonuses for AP success. With its rising popularity compared to the IB program due to its relatively manageable preparation, AP is becoming increasingly influential in the college admissions process. While some schools offer AP courses, achieving top scores often requires additional study due to the program's rigorous standards.

AP Online Application: once a year, exams held annually in May, application deadline mid-November.

특정 점수 이상을 받는 경우 일부 학점 면제를 받을 수 있어 등록비를 아낄 뿐 아니라 명문대 진학에 있어 입시 가산점을 받게 됩니다. 현재 IB 프로그램보다 준비가 용이하여 인기가 높아지는 추세로, 명문대 입시에 큰 역할을 하는 학업 프로그램입니다. AP 수업을 제공하는 학교도 있으나, 상위권 점수를 위해서는 추가 학습이 반드시 필요한 난이도를 가지고 있습니다.

AP 온라인 지원: 연 1회, 해마다 5월 시험, 11월 중순 신청 마감.
